Privacy Policy
What Kleen Up Solutions collects when you book, why we need it, and who else sees it. We have tried to write this in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
Effective September 22, 2026. Questions? Email hello@kleenupsolutions.com or call +1 (984) 396-8389.
What we collect
When you book a cleaning or request a walkthrough, you give us:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- The service address, and for businesses, the company or property name
- Details about the job: service type, bedrooms, number of units, preferred date
- Entry instructions, if you provide them: a lockbox or gate code, where a key is hidden, or who to check in with
- Any notes you add, such as parking, pets, or specific requests
After a job, we hold a record of the work, the invoice and whether it has been paid, the before-and-after photos, and any review you leave.
We never see or store your full card number. If you pay online, Stripe handles the card and we only learn whether the payment succeeded.
Our website also collects ordinary technical information: pages visited, approximate location from your IP address, and device type.
Entry codes, specifically
We know a gate code or lockbox combination is different from an email address, and we treat it that way.
Entry instructions are shown only to the contractor assigned to your job and to the staff coordinating it. They are never used for marketing, never included in analytics, and never shared with any of the third parties listed below. If you would like the instructions removed from your record after a job, email us and we will delete them.
Why we use it
To schedule and perform your cleaning, to let the assigned contractor find and enter the property, to send confirmations and completion photos, to invoice and collect payment, to answer questions and resolve problems, and to keep the history you see in your client portal.
If you are an existing client, we may email you about your service. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
The contractor assigned to your job sees what they need to do the work: your name, the address, the job details, and entry instructions if you gave them. They are bound by confidentiality terms in their agreement with us.
We also use these services to run the business:
- Supabase: Database and file storage for bookings, job records, and photos
- Vercel: Website hosting and request logging
- Resend: Sending booking confirmations, receipts, and job photos by email
- Stripe: Online card payments, when you choose to pay that way
- Google: Website analytics and address autocomplete on our booking form
- Meta: Advertising measurement, if you reached us from a Facebook or Instagram ad
- Sentry: Error monitoring so we can find and fix site problems
Beyond that, we share information only when the law requires it, or when it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people use, and the Meta pixel to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads are working. Both set cookies in your browser and can tell us that a visit led to a booking, though not who you are as an individual.
You can block cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, or adjust ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account. The booking form works either way. We do not use advertising cookies to make decisions about pricing.
Job photos
Before-and-after photos are stored in private storage, not on a public web address. They are visible to you, to the contractor who took them, and to our staff. We keep them as part of the job record so there is proof the work was done.
We will not publish a photo of your property or use it in advertising without asking you first, and you can ask us to delete your photos at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep client and job records for as long as you are a client and afterwards as needed for tax, accounting, and warranty purposes, generally seven years for anything tied to an invoice.
Entry instructions and job photos are not subject to that retention period. Ask us and we will remove them sooner.
Security
Information is stored with established providers, encrypted in transit, and reachable only by people who need it. Access to client records requires an account we have authorized; your client portal is reached through a private link unique to you. Treat that link like a password and do not forward it.
We are a small business and will not pretend to have enterprise security certifications we do not hold. If you learn of a problem with our site or data, please tell us at hello@kleenupsolutions.com and we will act on it.
Your choices
Email or call us to see what we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or have entry instructions and photos removed from a past job. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and asking does not affect your service.
Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link. Messages about a job you booked, such as confirmations, photos, and invoices, are part of the service and are not marketing.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, the effective date above will change. Material changes affecting how we use information you already gave us will be emailed to active clients.
The terms covering the service itself are in our Terms of Service.
